Overview
I’d rate this 4.5/5 overall. It’s a feature-packed smart floor lamp that looks premium and creates a really impressive atmosphere, with a couple of small “smart device” caveats. The tri-zone lighting is the standout. Being able to switch between ambient ripple effects, RGBIC mood lighting, and a bright 1000-lumen task light (or mix zones) makes it genuinely useful—not just decorative. It works great for different scenarios: relaxed movie lighting, focused work sessions, or party vibes. The DIY ripple effect is surprisingly cool in person. The 330° rotating head throws water-like patterns onto the ceiling and walls, and the scene options make it easy to dial in the exact mood. The RGBWW range plus circadian “Auto Run” is also a nice touch—warm tones at night feel cozy, and cooler tones help during the day. Smart features are strong: it plays nicely with Alexa/Google/SmartThings/Matter and the app gives tons of customization, including music reactive and scene syncing. Build quality also feels solid—sleek design, rust-proof aluminum, and the motors are quiet. Why not a full 5? Mainly because it’s a bit setup-dependent: you’ll need 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, and the upper/lower zone combo requires the right app version and firmware update, which can be a little annoying if you just want everything to work instantly. Still, if you want a modern lamp that can be both practical and a “wow” piece, this one delivers.
